At Pacific Motorsports our orientation has always been towards the health and safety of our clients and employees. To that end we engage in the most prudent Best Practices possible.
We have been, and are continuing to, maintain all contact with clients, vendors and our co-workers at an appropriate distance. We have also adopted scheduling procedures that can be conducted via telephone, from initial appointment setting through to final payment.
We request that all vehicles be dropped off outside our front door under the awning, so that we may be aware of your arrival and see you both. Please leave the keys in the car, give us a wave, and we will retrieve the vehicle upon your departure.
Our vehicle cleaning procedures have escalated to include immediate disinfection of high touch surfaces such as keys, door handles, steering wheels, shift knobs, emergency/parking brake handles, etc. using Oxivir TB*. Our technicians who service and drive your car are gloved at all times, and the high touch surfaces are disinfected a final time at the conclusion of service. This is in addition to our customary hand wash and dry at the conclusion of service.
Should you need to enter our facility, we respectfully request that you wear appropriate facial covering to help us comply with local and state health instructions. We also request that you maintain appropriate social distance of at least 6 feet (two meters) from other persons while in our facility.
We’re in it for the long haul here at Pacific Motorsports, and thank you for your understanding and patience with these additional health and safety protocols.
Part of the service we provide our clients here at Pacific Motorsports is a complementary hand wash and dry. While this may not be considered a “normal” part of vehicle service, we do it because it’s “the right thing to do”. It completes the vehicle’s overall service here and is indicative of our Best Practices approach to everything we do.
“Best Practices” are defined as methods or techniques that have been generally accepted as superior to any alternatives through practice and research.
We believe that everything we do here should be done in the best way, and to the highest standard. What that means in practice here at Pacific Motorsports is:
Specialization and Focus - We service BMW and MINI vehicles exclusively. We don’t try to do everything nor be all things to all people.
Training and Qualification - All of our technicians are factory-trained, and three of them have achieved BMW and MINI’s highest worldwide qualification, Level 1 Master Technician. They’ve dedicated their careers to these brands, undergone significant training, have decades of experience and have seen a lot in that time.
Equipment - We utilize the latest BMW and MINI factory diagnostic and programming equipment.
Parts - We use only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, except in the rare cases that a superior one has since become available. These are the same parts BMW and MINI specified and sourced, made by the same manufacturers, they used to build the cars.
Digital Inspection Tools - We provide complementary courtesy inspections of every vehicle each time it visits Pacific Motorsports. These inspections are transmitted to our clients via text message with a link to a webpage containing the inspection with easy to read notes and photographs notating the current status of the vehicle and its major systems and components. We spent months customizing these tools for our use, and our clientele appreciates their thoroughness, convenience and ease of use.
Convenience - We are centrally located in inner Southeast Portland at the corner of SE 10th Avenue and Powell Boulevard, which is Oregon Highway 26.
Communication - Of course we’re available via phone, text and e-mail, but that’s just technology, it’s the people behind it that’s important. This is a people business, and being able to effectively communicate with different styles of people with varying levels of mechanical understanding, is a skill, and one we possess here at Pacific Motorsports. From returning phone calls and e-mails promptly to explaining how systems work and what repair options might be sensibly available, we know that it’s your car, and that a well-informed client can make the best decisions about it.
We believe that proper and thorough BMW repair and MINI service must include these elements, and that these are Best Practices. Anything short is cutting corners
We believe that the highest and best trained and experienced technicians, focusing on one brand family, in a clean, safe, convenient location, using the latest tooling and equipment and the correct parts are most likely to produce the highest quality work. This kind of workshop, coupled with a service desk employing transparent thorough communication, the latest digital inspection tools, and a friendly professional service approach, enable us to provide A Higher Standard of Service.
You don’t have to take our word for it, you can see what our clients have written about us over the past decade, as aggregated in the over 900 5-star reviews on our website, or those on Google.
An awesome car wash is just icing on the cake, and an indicator of our level of care and attention to detail. What kind of MINI repair or BMW service may we perform for you?
